From Stressed Out to Chilled Out Programming

Class-wide learning programs are designed to reinforce strategies that teach essential core competencies, which include self-management, self-awareness, responsible decision making, relationship skills and social awareness.

In Grade 7, students engage with the From Stressed Out to Chilled Out programming. This program promotes self-awareness, empathy and mindfulness as students learn what "normal" stress levels are and when to seek help.

Students in Grade 7 from Roland Michener Secondary School created a video featuring coping skills when encountering positive and negative stress to highlight their learning with the From Stressed Out to Chilled Out programming.
