Due to safety concerns related to a rare solar eclipse occurring on Monday, April 8, 2024, the Professional Activity (PA) Day originally scheduled for Friday, April 26, 2024, has been rescheduled to Monday, April 8, 2024.

We have sent a letter to families on Wednesday, February 7, with the details of the change.

School buses are cancelled in Hearst, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Matheson, Kirkland Lake, Englehart, Temiskaming Shores, Kerns, Elk Lake and Temagami. Schools remain open except Kerns, Elk Lake and Temagami Public Schools.
